Who we are
WRC Joinery is a joinery and carpentry business working across the East Midlands, based at Ransom Wood Business Park, Pine House D, NG21 0HJ, registered in England and Wales as company 14234007. When you contact us we decide how your details are used, which makes us the data controller. You can reach us on 07808 715358 or at enquiries@wrcjoinery.com.
What we collect
- When you enquire — your name, phone number, email address, and whatever you tell us about the project. We ask for a phone number because most joinery jobs need a conversation before anyone can sensibly quote.
- Spam protection — the enquiry form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks the submission comes from a person rather than a script. Cloudflare processes your IP address in order to do that. It does not track you across other websites.
- Website analytics, only if you agree — we use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people read. It is switched off until you press Accept on the cookie notice, and pressing Decline keeps it off and sets no cookie. It tells us how many people visited a page, roughly where in the world they were and what sort of device they used — never who you are.
- No advertising. This site sets no advertising cookies and we do not use your visit to target you with adverts anywhere else.
Why we use it
Enquiry details are used to reply to you, to arrange a visit and quote, and if you go ahead, to carry out the work. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests — responding to somebody who has asked us about a project — and, once you accept a quote, performance of a contract.
We do not sell your data, and enquiring does not put you on a marketing list.
Who else sees it
This website is built and maintained for us by Dalton Digital, who act as our processor. Enquiries are delivered to us through their systems and are briefly held by Vercel, who host this site, if we cannot be reached at the moment you send one. If you accept the cookie notice, Google receives the analytics data described above. None of them is permitted to use your details for their own purposes, and we do not share enquiries with anyone else.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to work are kept for up to 12 months, so we can pick the conversation back up if you come back to us. Records of work carried out, including quotes and invoices, are kept for six years because tax law requires it.
Your rights
Under the UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, ask us to restrict how we use it, or object to our using it. Email enquiries@wrcjoinery.com or call 07808 715358 and we will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this notice
If we change how we handle personal data we will update this page and the date at the top of it.
